Week of October 21

Dear Mrs. Fernandez's 5th grade class and parents,

This week we planted wheat seeds in little cups. Some cups had a black garbage bag, but other cups had clear plastic bags. This is a science experiment. We want to know which plant will grow.

In math class, Mrs. Fernandez is teaching the class about 2d shapes. The class uses Khan Academy now for homework.

In writing, Mrs. Fernandez helps point out show-not-tell. The class is revising their narrative stories.
